In November of 2022, Michael Gaillard opened his new studio and exhibition space in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY. Situated only about a half-hour north of New York City by Metro North from Grand Central or by car, Michael Gaillard Studio is a creative and experimental outpost, functioning both as a studio and production space, and an occasional exhibition space where he mounts shows spanning the spectrum of his creative endeavors. At times, the space hosts formal exhibitions with a unified theme, while at others, it becomes a space for him to experiment with exhibition strategies and hang works in progress as they evolve.
During most weekdays when his children are in school, Michael works in the studio at the back. Otherwise, the studio is open by appointment. Given that Michael lives 5 minutes away, appointments can often be made spontaneously.
