As an artist whose work occupies the space where man and nature overlap, I felt as though these tragic events in particular required my attention. While they may be released in some capacity in the future, probably in a book and possibly in the context of an exhibition, any proceeds from the work beyond production expenses will go toward causes related to the rebuilding of these communities, supporting individuals and families affected, or nonprofit organizations committed to mitigating the effects of climate change and fighting those who disregard the impact of our actions on our environment in the interest of profit.
